Spectacles
For Join Design‘s REFLECT Show during NYC x Design at SightUnseen OFFSITE, we’ve been working on a fun little project with lots of help from talented glass specialist and designer John Hogan.
About “Spectacles”
Wearing reflective glasses forces the onlooker to see their own reflection, while masking the view of the wearer. These spectacles turn the idea of reflection back onto itself, creating simultaneous moments of self and outer reflection. It’s a time to be alone even if you aren’t alone.
